Four years ago, Chester arrived from Tennessee in search of a second chance. He had suffered an injury — details unknown — that left him unable to use his hind legs. Despite his challenges, Chester never gave up. He adapted quickly, dragging his little feet behind him with determination and heart, hoping for a better life.
Since joining Southeast Corgi Rescue, Chester has made incredible progress thanks to regular therapy and the dedication of his foster family. While he will always live with a disability, he’s grown stronger and more independent each day. He’s now able to put weight on his hind legs, and watching him stand at his food bowl — or take a few steps— is nothing short of amazing.
But what truly sets Chester apart is his unbreakable spirit. He’s sweet, goofy, and full of love. To know Chester is to fall in love with him. He embodies the very heart of rescue, and we’re honored to be part of his journey.
